Zynga has snatched up a former executive for online poker site 888, AllThingsD reported. Maytal Ginzburg comes on board with Zynga as its chief operating officer in charge of new markets.
According to AllThingsD: “The hire is important for the Facebook games maker because it shows that, while a number of executives have decided to leave, it can still recruit talent at a very high level.”
Zynga Poker is looking to be a strong real-money gambling brand in regulated markets around the globe. The company has begun lobbying in the United States as well.
