It’s just two months until the PaddyPowerPoker.com Irish Winter Festival gets underway at the Burlington Hotel, Dublin, Ireland and from today players can register and pay online for any of the nine tournaments in the schedule.

Players can pay via the Pay Now section of the website using Visa, MasterCard, Laser or bank transfer right up until Friday October 19 – that’s one week before the start of the festival which takes place over the October bank holiday weekend of Friday October 26 to Monday October 29.

Players can also qualify for the main event each Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thrusday at the site or can purchase a seat using their Power Points at the VIP store.

Paddy Power, communications manager at the site, said, “The Irish Winter Festival is always a great weekend in Dublin and this year should be no different, with an expected Main Event prize-pool of €400,000 and some entertaining side events such as the Doubles NLH and Mythical.

“There are also rumours of the infamous Beer Pong tournament making a re-appearance. I did pretty well in this last year – I’ll be looking to up my game this October and be crowned the 2012 Beer Pong Champion!”
