Former Full Tilt Poker Tournament Returns To Cyprus To Kick Start Season XI Of World Poker Tour

The World Poker Tour Merit Cyprus Classic main event gets underway today on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus.

The event kick starts season XI of the World Poker Tour.

The $4,000 + $400 buy in event has two day 1s. Registration is open for the first six levels and players who are knocked out on day 1A can re-enter on day 1B. Three percent of the prize pool will be withheld for tournament costs.

Players start with 30,000 in chips, blinds of 50/100 and 60 minute blind levels.

The final table takes place on Thursday at the Merit Crystal Cover Hotel & Casino.

The tournament was formerly sponsored by Full Tilt Poker.
