A Danish internet service provider, Hi3G, has been ordered to block 12 unlicensed websites from providing online gaming including poker to Danish citizens.

The move came on foot of the Danish Gambling Authority taking a case against Hi3G in the Danish bailiff’s court.

The websites include Titan Poker, Bet-at-Home, and Cool Hand Poker.

Hi3G has 14 days to comply with the court order and the Danish Gambling Authority expects other ISPs to follow suit and block access to the blacklisted sites.

Licenced and regulated online poker went live in Denmark in January 2012.

Companies such as Betfair, PKR, Ladbrokes, Paradise Poker and Dansk Spil/bwin.party are licensed to operate in the country.
