World Poker Tour National Series Madrid Warms Up

Poker Action Hits Madrid With WPT National Series Main Event And Plenty Of Sides

From today a feast of poker will be enjoyed at the Casino Gran Madrid as the World Poker Tour National Series Madrid warms up with a €165 + €15 buy-in no-limit hold’em main event super satellite at 7 p.m. (local time).

What those players will be trying to qualify for is the €1,500 + €150 buy-in main event, which runs from Jun. 28 to Jul. 2. Players sit down to a starting stack of 20,000 and 60-minute blinds at 2 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday.

There is a €100 + €10 buy-in no-limit hold’em main event satellite to day 1B Thursday evening at 6 p.m. (featuring unlimited rebuys).

There is late registration for four levels for both the main event and its live satellites. There is also a wide array of side events for players to take a shot at.
