It’s been almost three weeks since PurpleLounge.com shut its door without any warning to players and very little has been communicated from the site since.

Not least a time frame for resolving the issue of locked down bankrolls on the site.

However in an unusual twist Devilfish Poker has sent two blank emails to its customer base in the last 10 days – May 6 and May 13 – with the header, “Devilfish Poker Welcomes Purple Lounge Players”, leading to rumours that a deal for Devilfish Poker to take over the Purple Lounge players base could be in the offing.

It is currently unknown why the emails were sent with no content other than the subject header but Devilfish Poker, which is on the same Entraction network as Purple Lounge.
