Irish poker pro Jude Ainsworth has won the Super Tuesday event on PokerStars pocketing $84,000 for topping the 441 strong field.
“J.thaddeus”, whose previous victories include a Sunday Million, EPT side event, Irish Poker Championship and Sunday Second Chance, now has over $2.2 million in lifetime tournament earnings.
Ainsworth got heads up with Hernan “HN Kakaroko” Novick and the duel lasted just 10 hands when both players flopped top pair and after a check raise from the Irishman Novick moved all in and Ainsworth called with a better kicker which proved decisive.
