The Relax Gaming Network, owner and developer of the Rush Poker-style game Fast Poker that was announced last week, has received a licence from the Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC).

It is the 100th licence issued by the AGCC, according to the BBC.

Robin LePrevost, head of e-commerce, told the news outlet that Alderney was “the place to be” for the online gambling industry.

He added that last year’s controversy involving the AGCC’s hands-off regulation of Full Tilt Poker, which went broke owing millions of dollars to poker players around the world, had done no damage to the island’s industry.
