The World Poker Tour rolls into Vejle, Denmark today for a National Series main event – the equivalent of the lower buy-in Regional Event in the U.S..

The €1,500 + €150 buy in, two day one, main event takes place at Casino Munkebjerg Vejle and has a cap of 400 runners.

One well known face will make the leap from one side of the poker tournament business to the other – regular WPT commentator and Denmark-based Jesse May will take part in the event.

His friend, sometime co-commentator, and Card Player writer Padraig Parkinson tweeted earlier today, “Good luck to @ScurrilousMay in WPT today. Won satellite after 11 years of disappointments. I feel like a guy outside maternity ward.”
