Football legend Jan Mølby’s performance at the European Poker Tour Copenhagen has resulted in his signing with Bet24. Mølby is now a member of the Bet24 Pro Team which includes players such as Jesper Hougaard, Gillian Epp, Thomas Pedersen, and Stefan Matsson.

Mølby wore the Bet24 patch at EPT Copenhagen where he had the best finish of all the bet24 Pro Team. The online site recognised the former footballer also has talents at the felt and offered him a contract.

Fellow teammate Pedersen promised the Dane some lessons, saying that Mølby “seems like a very solid and thinking player and an all-around fantastic guy, who blends in naturally. Now he just needs to start grinding online, too!”

Mølby, who will also now try his hand at the virtual felt, said, "I look forward to playing more poker with Bet24 and the rest of the team, and I am proud of the confidence they have shown in me as a player. I look forward to playing lots of tournaments in the future.” A number of online promotions have been planned with him, with hopes that he will also play in the newly launched Danish Poker Tour.

The online poker site will continue to add players from all around the world until it has 24.
