NACPT Choctaw Prelims -- Day 7 Results

Day seven is in the books at the inaugural Native American Casino Poker Tour Choctaw series, with three events coming to a conclusion today and three new winners on the NACPT. Here are the day’s results:

Event 13 — $200 No-Limit Hold’em

A total of 71 players put up the $200 buy-in to enter event 13, building a $12,052 prize pool. Eight players made the money, but the last man standing was James Goodwin of Sherman, Texas. Goodwin earned $3,791 for his win. Here is the complete payout information:

Event 14 — $200 Limit Omaha Eight-or-Better

The second limit Omaha eight-or-better tournament of the series began at 4 p.m., drawing a field of 35 players who each put up the $200 buy-in to build a $5,941 prize pool. Bob Wilson of Denison, Texas came out on top, earning $2,471 for his win. Here is the complete payout information:

2. Lawrence Birke — $1,647
3. Jerome Fish — $824
4. Michael Fallas — $549

Nightly 7 p.m. $125 No-Limit Hold’em

William McGraw of Denison, Texas took down the nightly 7 p.m. event, coming out on top of the 24 player field to take home the first place prize of $939. Here are the complete results for the event:

1. William McGraw — $939
2. John Wade — $536
3. John Cooper — $376

With the conclusion of day seven, the NACPT $1,000 main event is almost upon us, with the tournament kicking off on Saturday Dec. 10th at 2 p.m. Players looking to win their way in to the main event have a number of satellite options.
