Full Tilt Allegedly Owes More Than $150 Million To Its PlayersEGaming Review Magazine has reported that online site Full Tilt Poker is facing yet another class action lawsuit over frozen player funds, this time from two former Canadian customers.

Zayn Jetha and Donald Whelan are filing a suit against Howard Lederer, Ray Bitar, and Nelson Burtnick, as well as Full Tilt Poker Ltd and associated companies Orinic, Oxalic, Tiltware and Vantage. A summons was issued about a week ago.

The litigation comes about a month after four U.S. poker players, including lawyer and poker pro Todd Terry, brought a similar suit against the suspended online poker company.

Earlier this month Full Tilt paid £250,000 in overdue license fees to the Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC), after a hearing in London on July 26 saw allegations come forth that the online company had breached its terms with the AGCC, allegedly failing to pay its licensing fees. AGCC commissioners decided to adjourn the public meeting on Full Tilt’s license until at the latest Sept. 15, with all future hearings to be held in private.

It wasn't that long ago that you couldn't see a poker show on TV or read a poker magazine without seeing an interview with, tip from, or quote by Howard Lederer. For a guy who loved attention he sure disappeared in a hurry. Where is he hiding these days?

And has anyone heard or read about UB lately? I'm sure Phil and Annie knew what was going down when they left. Shame they didn't warn anyone.

Shouldn't that in itself be a warning sign?

I am intrested to see how this lawsuit shakes out since the claimants are Canadian. If you are a US custimer you have no legal remedy. Simply put you can not get mad when you play poker on a site that is operating illegally and get burned. It would be nice if players could get their money back but its not going to happen. I mean every 3rd person you bump into now was "killing it" online when the shutdown happened and had 45k-650k trapped online when the site went down. With so many people "killing" online poker..... I wonder who was losing.... guess we will never know.
