Dirk Richter Still Chip Leader, Romanello is Second

Roberto Romanello finished Day 2 second in chips.Dirk Richter started Day 2 of the the PokerStars European Poker Tour Prague main event as chip leader, and when the day came to an end he was still in the pole position. The German is one of 93 players to make it through the day, down from the 254 who started it.

Richter ended the day with 593,000 in chips, followed closely by Roberto Romanello’s 566,000 and Antonio Palma’s 545,000. Other notable players to survive the day include Rob Hollink, Luca Pagano, Matt Affleck and Dominik Nitsche.

Of the 93 players who will be back for Day 3, only 80 will get a piece of the €2,730,550 prize pool, with the winner taking the top prize of €640,000.

Not surviving the day were Liv Boeree, Praz Bansi, Theo Jorgensen, Kent Lundmark, Christopher Benzimra and Joao Barbosa, among others.
