Boris BeckerThree-time Wimbledon tennis champions Boris Becker has said he’s ahead from playing poker since he took up the game a few years ago according to the Austrian Independent.

Becker, currently in Vienna playing the PokerStars.com European Poker Tour event in the city, told the paper, “I won more money than I lost so far. But I won’t talk figures. Poker players don’t do that. They are a bit superstitious."

The 42-year-old tennis legend also said poker and tennis were alike in at least one way, "Tennis and poker players need great mental strength – and you certainly need a strategy.”
