Cash games vs Tournaments

To be a winner in cash games, you just need to be a better player than the others and put in a reasonable number of hours.
In theory the same is true in tournaments except that reasonable requires many more hours. Therefore to be a winner in tournaments in the short term you should have a combination of being better than your competition, make a few hands, win some races, and make a couple key suck outs.
