Five For Seven’s Not So Badby Andrew Brokos | Published: Jul 11, '12 |
Sorry I’ve been slow in updating here. For those who didn’t see on Twitter, I busted out of the WSOP main event shortly before the dinner break on Day 2A. It was a quite uninteresting day except for the two hands that I probably misplayed and cost me my stack. Even those aren’t terribly interesting, but as usual my write-up will be in a forthcoming 2+2 Magazine, so I’m not going to say much about them right now. Just wanted to say thanks for all the well-wishers and sorry that I won’t have a more substantive trip report for you. At least we got a What’s Your Play? out of it. Speaking of which get your comments in now if you haven’t already, pre-flop results go up tomorrow.

Sorry to hear that.
5/7 is still sick though. I wonder if anyone else has that many ME cashes in the last 7 yrs.

lol so variance "got him" because he busted from this one tourney without cashing?
Variance "gets you" when you brick 40 straight MTT's, not when you go 5/7.

bricking 40 MTTs is your normal not variance. a good player overcomes some variance but not all

GG Andrew- Gettum next year. Looking forward to your article.
Pretty funny how some of these bozos have nothing better to do than to criticize every blog on here. What a sad, negative existence to lead.
Guess they don't realize how bitter they appear mocking those that are successful at something they can't do.
