Here we are at one of the world’s most beautiful natural sights.

Allyn and I are not good enough photographers or writers to give it due credit. So here is a glance and you will just have to trust me.

 


 

 

The Johns Hopkins glacier, pictured above, is almost 5 miles away. It is 250 feet (25 stories) high with another 200 feet below water. It is one mile wide and 12 miles long.

 

 

This glacier is 2 miles wide. That tiny part in the circle is ice that was calved off to an amazing shriek and then a tumultuous crash/avalanche to the water.

Everything here is so huge that the size magnitude cannot be measured by our normal sight senses.
