If more people would adopt his tone, everybody would be better off. For example, some people have mocked his beer summit, but what better way to resolve an argument? People are always going to get into fights. I think Obama is trying to show us an attitude that will allow differences to be resolved. He can't do it by himself, of course. He needs some cooperation and support.

If your house was on fire would you call the fire department? Guess what? Thats the government. Ever attended a public school? Government too. If someone breaks in your house I don't suppose you'd call the police? Government as well. Have you ever been to the library to check out a free book? The government pays for those too.Ask people who have aging parents and grandparents who aren't very well off what they think of SS and medicade. If anti government idiots like you had their way we would have no roads, police, fire department, schools, libraries, post offices. That would be a great way to live right?

It's true that the next American generation is going to pay for excessive government spending. So how about exiting Afghanistan and saving $3.6 billion per month? There would be plenty of money to deal with unemployment and healthcare if America would concentrate on their own issues instead of trying to impose their will on the rest of the world.
