It's Good to be a Shulman

What a father and son team, Barry bests a very tough field to win WSOP Europe’s main event and Jeff is at the final table of the main event with a lot of chips and although he has his work cut out for him, what a story it would be. Barry came back from the short stack several times during the final table play and wound up heads up against Daniel Negreanu. It must party time in the shulman household and at Card Player Magazine. Congratulations Barry, now let’s see if Jeff can follow your example.

I also noticed that Matt Glantz won the high roller event which followed the WSOP Europe. I have played with Matt quite a bit over the past few years and I have a lot of respect for his game. He is a regular at The Borgata where he is a consistent winner in the big mixed games. Oops I used the “B” word again, I might get slapped around by Negreanu, again, but that’s the way it goes. I know you would have much rather finished first, but 2nd is still great, well done.

I am taking this next week off, but will be back in about ten days.

Its funny that you have anything to say about daniel, First off your not even on the same playing feild. He is alot more talented, and has proved his self over and over again. To the average poker player roy u are a nobody, and you will continue to be a nobody untill you prove yourself. When you are the leading money winner in tournaments you then can call out a nobody! when you do that let us know! you are millions upon millions away

what are you guys talking about? Roy didnt say anything bad about Daniel N. - he only pointed a previous issue (Daniel made a joke about Roy in a blog) and the congratulated him on 2nd place...

How about getting off Daniel Negreanu's c*ck for just one minute? I know that might be hard for you to do, but maybe u will pay attention to what is written next time.

Yeah, well, I cashed in the daily dummy last week on FTP, beating out thousands of other dummies in the process. I figure I should make the November 9 next year...in my dreams!

Seriously, I've watched Roy play and he's a fine player but guys like DN, Ivey, etc. are in a class all their own.

Poker's a funny game; yes, there's luck involved but when you see the same people finishing up top as often as you see some, you know they're playing the game pretty darn good.
