Cameron Yoos: What are the biggest differences between being successful at Omaha versus hold'em?
Rafi Amit: Omaha is a game, basically, you have to know what you are going to do after the flop, not as much before the flop, like hold'em. Especially in deep stack Omaha, and I think that is going to be the case tonight because we start with a lot of chips (10,000) and there are the re-buys.
CY: Do you expect the common mistakes you see in Omaha at this level of buy-in, with all the big names entered?
RA: I don't know if the big names are going to do it as a mistake, but they would like to gamble a little bit more, and try to take my chips, and that's a good opportunity to take chips off them. They don't care to buy in like eight times or something.
CY: What is your strategy reguarding the rebuys? What approach have you used in the past to be successful?
RA: Before I was going a little bit too crazy, but now I just try to play good, with a little bit of gamble. But it depends on the table. If people are willing to gamble, I'll obviously have more opportunities. If people are going to play tight, I can't do too much. You just can't go in and push chips around.
