In his first four cashes in
European Poker Tour events, Trond Eidsvig made final tables in three of them. Those four
EPT in-the-money finishes were from Season 4, and he earned about $460,000 from them. Eidsvig’s highest finish came in Dublin, where he went out in fourth place. Interestingly, he was paid more for his fifth place finish in Barcelona earlier that year.
Eidsvig’s first non-EPT payday was also his biggest yet; in 2007 he won the Masters Classic of Poker at the Holland Casino and pocketed about $900,000.
