Shawn “Sheiky” Sheikhan was born in 1969 in Iran. This businessman is known for his poker skill and chic image at the tables. He acquired poker fame during the 2005 World Series of Poker in disputes with Mike Matusow late in the main event. He finished in 11th place, winning $600,000. His other accomplishments include a second-place finish in the 2006 WSOP seven-card stud event, and a third place in last year’s National Heads-Up Poker Championship. Sheikhan is featured on GSN’s High Stakes Poker.
