He then focused his efforts on becoming a professional poker player.
His WSOP bracelets came in the 2004 H.O.R.S.E. and $1,500 no-limit hold’em events. Later that year, he won the World Poker Tour winner-take-all, invitation-only Young Guns of Poker tournament. In 2007, Fischman narrowly missed the WPT televised final table at the Five-Star World Poker Classic. He finished eighth for almost $248,000. He also finished third at the 2007 Caesars Palace Classic main event for more than $245,000.
Fischman is also an avid online poker player, specializing in sit-and-gos and multitable tournaments.
