Front-man of rock band Godsmack, Sully Erna has begun making a name for himself in tournament poker. With the massive fields of
World Series of Poker events, it is quite an accomplishment to even cash in the main event. Erna has done so in both 2006 and 2007 with his highest finish being for 237th in 2007, worth more than $45,000.
Then, at a $5,000 buy-in no-limit hold’em preliminary event at the Five-Diamond World Poker Classic, Erna finished second to J.C. Tran, adding more than $307,000 to his lifetime earnings.
Erna was born Feb. 7, 1958 in Lawrence, Massachusetts.
