Since leaving his legal career, Randy Holland has been grinding it out in tournaments for years now, and has more than 240 major cashes. He started playing during a business trip to Las Vegas.
Holland has two World Series of Poker bracelets coming in the 1996 razz event and the 2000 seven-card stud high-lo event. Holland has been a mainstay in the 2007 Card Player Player of the Year race with 16 major cashes already this year. He has nearly $2.7 million in tournament winnings.
Holland is now married with two children. His wife Laurene plays poker recreationally and won a no-limit event at the 2003 Four Queens Poker Classic.
