That includes a 2007 main-event cash in 39th place, which paid almost $238,000, and a bracelet-win in 2008 in a $1,500 buy-in no-limit hold’em six-handed event. Porter defeated 1,236 entrants to receive the bracelet and the nearly $372,000 first-place prize.
