

Somehow, Ly also found time to grind out some money to supplement is income in low-limit cash games. He eventually upped his limits as he steadily improved and adapted. Soon, he was playing side-by-side with poker legends like Doyle Brunson in “The Big Game.” After taking advice from Brunson, Ly began playing tournaments and had immediate success.
Ly has cashed in more than 120 major events, including 10 at the World Series of Poker. He finished second to Doyle Brunson in a $5,000 shorthanded no-limit event in the 2005 WSOP, but won a World Poker Tour title later that year at the Doyle Brunson North American Poker Championship.
Ly is married and continues to follow the poker circuit and play in the biggest cash games in the world.
