Born and raised in the Los Angeles area, Kristy Gazes is a professional poker player who’s known for her skill in high-stakes mixed games. She specializes in games such as razz, Omaha eight-or-better, seven-card stud, and deuce-to-seven draw. Although she makes her living playing cash games, she has made the transition to tournaments successfully. She won the 2003 World Championship of Online Poker seven-card stud event, and also finished fifth in the 2002 World Series of Poker S.H.O.E. event. Her most notable tournament win came when she beat Ted Forrest heads up for the FullTiltPoker.net Championship at Wynn Las Vegas. She recently finished seventh in the 2007 Aussie Millions championship event. Gazes is a Friend of Full Tilt.
