This well-respected poker player has been cashing in major tournaments since 1999. In 2007, Kenny Tran made big cashes in the two most prestigious World Series of Poker events. He place fifth in the $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. event, which contained one of the toughest fields ever assembled. Then, in the $10,000 main event, Tran outlasted more than 6,000 players and finished 16th. Those two cashes combined account for just over $825,000. Then, at the 2008 WSOP, Tran won his first bracelet in the $10,000 buy-in heads-up no-limit hold'em World Championship event. He added almost $540,000 to his winnings.
