Julian Thew, of Great Britain, is a
European Poker Tour champion. In 2007, he won the
Baden Classic, which was good for $872,000. Prior to that win, he had cashed in three events during Season 1 and three more events during Season 2. In 2008, he finished 96th in the
PokerStars Caribbean Adventure.
Thew has also enjoyed much success on the Grosvenor United Kingdom Poker Tour. In January, he won the event in Brighton and $168,000. He followed that up a couple of months later with a fourth-place finish in Victoria.
