Spadavecchia has a World Series of Poker bracelet in $5,000 deuce-to-seven draw (1991), and won a WSOP Circuit championship in Las Vegas in 2006. He has made 10 WSOP final tables, including the 1994 WSOP main event, where he finished in third place. At the 2008 World Poker Tour World Poker Open, he made the televised final table. Spadavecchia finished in sixth place there.
