John Racener has been on the fast-track to poker success after cashing for more than $103,000 at the 2006
World Series of Poker Circuit event in Atlantic City in his first major live tournament just after turning 21. Since then, he has had several cashes, including two
WSOP events and two
World Poker Tour events, one of which he placed eighth for more than $166,000.
Obviously unsatisfied with third place at Atlantic City, Racener returned the next year with winning in mind. Amazingly, he bested his previous finish and outlasted 243 players to win almost $280,000 for first-place at the 2007 WSOP Circuit Atlantic City. He has come full circle in a year and will likely continue running on the right track.
