This California resident has been cashing in major tournaments for about two decades. John Hoang started playing poker in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and says that his favorite game is seven-card stud eight-or-better. It seems fitting that his first major tournament cash was in that variation of poker back in 1999. Since then, Hoang has cashed in more than 130 major tournaments and collected a number of wins.
