Daniel Negrenau did battle with Cassidy in a $200,000 heads-up freeze out, and wrote in his blog, “Joe Cassidy is the best poker player under the age of 25 in the world.” Strong praise coming from Kid Poker.
2006 looks to be a big year for Cassidy, as he finished off 2005 in a strong way with his seventh-place finish at the World Poker Tour Fourth Annual Five Diamond World Poker Classic main event.
