Jeff “Happy” Shulman knows poker. He runs Card Player’s everyday operations as president and chief operating officer of Card Player Media LLC. Shulman was born in Seattle, Washington, in 1975. He has been playing poker since the third grade. Playing against his fellow summer-camp friends could be why he has become such a skilled player. He has cashed in the World Series of Poker 10 times, and seven times on the World Poker Tour. Shulman finished seventh in the 2000 World Series of Poker main event. He has wins in the 2003 L.A. Poker Classic and the 2004 no-limit hold’em event at the Plaza Ultimate Poker Challenge. He also was featured on Poker Superstars III on FSN.
