Born in South Africa, Eric Hershler moved to LA many years ago and began his career as a lawyer. Not until recently did Hershler decided to try his hand at tournament poker. However, he made the most of his efforts, winning the first $10,000 buy-in event that he played, the 2007 LA Poker Classic. For winning, Hershler earned nearly $2,500,000.
