

Former kindergarten teacher Dewey Tomko knows how to take his opponents to task. Probablybest known for his near wins in the World Series of Poker championship event in 1982 and in 2001, Tomko is one of the toughest competitors in the game.
Having turned pro after teaching kids, Tomko has now collected three World Series of Poker bracelets, over $2.8 million in prize money and is ranked 20th all time on the WSOP money list.
Born in Pennsylvania and now hailing from Winterhaven, Florida, Tomko has also found success on the World Poker Tour, with a second- and a fourth-place finish.
