In his first major tournament win, Davidi Kitai became the first person from Belgium ever to win a World Series of Poker bracelet. Kitai took down the 2008 $2,000 buy-in pot-limit hold’em event for almost $245,000. He is not a professional player, and he currently works for a banking institution dealing with macroeconomic investment issues.
