Gowen, born in 1971, grew up in Kiowa, Oklahoma, where she held the title of Miss Teen Oklahoma. She now lives in Dallas, Texas, but follows the tournament circuit. She made two television appearances in 2005, when she placed seventh in the $2,000 no-limit hold’em Ultimate Poker Challenge and third in the FullTiltPoker.net Championship at Wynn Las Vegas. She is a member of Team Full Tilt.
