Anton Makiievskyi Finishes 8th In WSOP Main Event

Anton Makiievskyi was eliminated in eighth place in the 2011 World Series of Poker main event when he lost a race against Pius Heinz with king-queen versus pocket nines. He flopped a pair, but Heinz turned a full-house and Makiievskyi failed to catch up on the river. He earned $1,010,015 for his efforts.
