On one hand, I think they drive our game forward. Chatter begets interest, which begets play, which begets income. At the end of the day, I’m 100 percent in favor of income. However, I think that some players get distracted by what’s being said on the forums rather than focus on their games. They mistake the sizzle for the steak. The other issue I have with forums is that their anonymous nature makes it difficult to gauge the credibility of those offering you advice, which as we know, is not all created equal.
