Charles “lobotomy” Goodwin and Ken “Handbone” Meyer were the first to receive their $12,000 prize packages from SpadeClub on June 1. Less than thirty days later, on June 29, SpadeClub awarded David “dkhunky” Kim and Michael “fugetaboutit” Pontorno their $12,000 prize packages. All four prize packages included a $10,000 buy-in and $2,000 in travel expenses. SpadeClub’s World Series $40K Giveaway champions will be participating in the 2008 World Series of Poker* main event, and you could have a very good reason to cheer them on.

Kim was asked which he is more excited about, the money or the bracelet, and he replied, “The bracelet, because it has a lot more value in it; you get top have bragging rights and it sets you apart from all of the other poker players in the world.”
